Osun Election 2018: Davido Warn Supporters Against APC, Support PDP For Thursday Re-run Election - NEST TV NEWS

Ahead of the Thursday’s governorship rerun, Popular singer, Davido, has appealed to his supporters to avoid being deceived in ‘sugarcoated’ tongue by the All Progressives Congress, APC, but to continue their support for Senator Ademola Adeleke.

Davido who has been campaigning for his uncle in a post on his Instagram page said Osun State is not an extension of Lagos, urging the electorate to reject all forms of persuasion against PDP come Thursday.

He wrote: “To all patriotic Osun citizens on the way to Osun decides, I salute you for the ‘mileage’ you have covered thus far during this election.

“I salute your support and resilience for Senator Ademola Adeleke, the soon to be the cheerful and Dancing Governor.
“I salute your ability to vote and deal with poor governance and the incumbent administration.
“It should be noted that Osun State is not an annex of Lagos but a state of its own and as such, all sorts of sugar-coated political suzerainty should be rejected, expunged and decimated.

“Don’t be sugar-coated by their blatant promises. As you cast your vote tomorrow for the rerun, vote for PDP.”

The rerun election would take place in seven polling units located in Orolu, Osogbo, Ife North and Ife South council areas on Thursday.
