EDUCATION, BEDROCK OF NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, SAY ENGR. BURAIMOH

Any country that wants development in its educational foundation, as human capital development will lead to national development. This was the assertion of the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA, Comrade Engr. Valentine Buraimoh while delivering his address during the visit of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) and Association of Primary School Head Teachers, Amuwo Odofin branch.














Comrade Buraimoh noted that a country that clamors for economic growth must first posses strong educational background. the council helmsmen added that security would be beefed up in and around schools to forestall any act that is capable of disrupting school activities.

Comrade Buraimoh hinted that more schools will be built at the coastal communities to accommodate the growing population in the area, while also appealing that all should pay their rates and levies.

Speaking on behalf of the associations, the Chairman of NUT, Comrade Adeyemi Adewale and the Education Secretary, Local Government Education Authority for Amuwo Odofin LGA Rev. Inu Ogundiyi congratulate the Chairman on his election victory, noting that the people Amuwo Odfin LGA should expect developmental projects from the Council boss. They also appealed for a bus, free GCE forms, and engagement of NUT for the free coaching classes, among others.

The Chairman of LSTDCOA, Mr. Biodun Kehinde noted that his association will support the present administration in all ramifications. They appeal to the Council Boss to look into the issue of ticketing, instead they suggested that permit should be paid annually to the council.

The officials of the pilgrims board enjoined the council Boss to encourage the staffs of the Council to take advantage of the benefits of traveling with the Lagos State Government delegation to Jerusalem, Rome and Greece.
