ENGR. BURAIMOH INSPECTS ROAD PROJECT IN AMUWO ODOFIN, SAYS GOOD ROAD NETWORK CANNOT BE COMPROMISED.

The Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Engr. Valentine Buraimoh has emphasized the need for good road network as panacea for socioeconomic development and effective security. He made this known when inspected the on-going road rehabilitation at 1st Avenue road,  Festac Town, Lagos, Nigeria.

Engr. Buraimoh stated that he is impressed with what he has seen so far, and from the look of things, the rehabilitation works at the aforementioned road would be completed very soon. "With the

  pace of work, in no distance time the rehabilitation of the road will be completed " said the Chairman to NEST TV reporter who was at the seen.

Meanwhile, the Local government boss has called on the residents, motorists and visitors alike to be patient with the on-going rehabilitation of 1st Avenue road, noting hat the road will be rehabilitated largely with interlocking stones while asphalts sport patching will also be done as this will be beneficial to all and sundry when it is completed.

Also, area that will be worked on include 1st avenue, 11 road, 31 road, 32 road, 4th avenue, alarasopo road in Jakande low cost housing estate. All these roads will be done in phases so as not to create heavy traffic congestion.
