SkalarecordsworldwideN1 was founded in 2010 but started promoting musical talents in 2016 and was reformed in 2017.

While signing Obameji_Jtwins as its first recording/performing artist. The label went on to lime another talented Captain sensational skalarecords captain Ikengaos in 2016. The label specialised in Afrobeat, RnB, Reggae & Soul Music. 

The first single released by the label was Obameji_jtwins "aiye_kopemeji" and other subsequent singles like "Way_to the top", "Life we livin (Remix) featuring Corex Benedict & kingzla south africa", "Kokan aye" which attain great success for the record label and its artiste. 

Obameji_jtwins has won various accolades including Extreme Awards (Gbeducity Music Award) Next Rated Artiste of the Year in 2015.
